I know. A bum in the true sense.
A little recap for those interested.
I’ve moved to a little nook by the sea. And by nook, i mean about half that size. But the view is wonderful. San Clemente is a neat little town, and i’m enjoying it.
Come visit. You’ll have fun.
I started a little record label called forskinnysteve. Check it out here. You can see the store here.
We’ve only got one release as of yet, but am working on another one.
I also have It’s 7:42 living on the web again. You should swing by and make a contribution. And i’m in the process of fixing it so it doesn’t blow you up everytime your submission goes live.
There’s a crash course. As more happens i’ll keep you posted.

Well, i’ve been waiting for it. And the complete lack of sleep last night due to pain, finally made me suck it up and get it done.
An unexpected root canal. As Andy so nicely put it, “Make them numb you till you can’t feel your brain!!!!!” I did. And i didn’t feel much of anything. All the anguish was nothing more than a little anxiety in the ol’ noggin.
I will say however, while i didn’t feel much pain, the only thing that was a little taxing was that it took a freakin’ hour and a half. Quite the procedure. Not sure if that’s standard protocol or if my lack of attention to my chipped tooth for the last five years caused it. What ever the case may be, while it wasn’t pleasant, it definitely wasn’t intolerable.
It is expensive though. Especially if you don’t have dental insurance as i conveniently do not. But i did manage to snag an X-Ray you can see below. That’s my tooth with a whole bunch of stuff crammed in it courtesy of the Doc.
I’m also unexpectedly moving in a couple of weeks to my own place! It’s tiny but it’s in a neat little town and close to the new job.
Visitations are in order now that i’m without roommates!
I’ll keep you posted on that front.
A week until a crown procedure and then finally i’ll get to chew with my whole mouth again!
Imagine that!
Slack it off.

Well good evening kind sirs. And what a fine evening it was!
I’ve been working myself to the bone here recently if i do say so myself, and decided tonight, was a night off.
In my night off i managed to accomplish the following:
- Read a little in my Money Magazine
- Play a little guitar
- Record for my first time with Garage Band and my built in Mac Microphone
- Watched The Royal Tenenbaums… Twice. Once normal. Once with commentary.
- Made a mess
Here’s evidence of the excitement.
Ouch.

And so it begins…

Well after much trial, tribulation, angst, and hypocrisy, I’ve gotten a MacBook.
I could hardly wait for the FedEx guy to drop it off on Friday.
But he did in a timely fashion, and needless to say i spent an amassed amount of time with her over the weekend.
Here are some photos documenting the experience.
Belated.

So today was wonderful. And a day it was.
We started out relatively early. Nothing atrocious, but definitely not lounging around in bed half the day. But reglardless, our buddy Coops’ band was playing a show down in San Clemente at the Del Mar Street Fair.
It was a good time and they put on a good show. But the oversized beach balls that everyone was tossing around in the crowd was a bit out of hand. Made me realize the fun of all ages shows.
And how much better it is to drink at shows. As giant beach balls smashing you in the face and spilling beer all over your dress isn’t the best time.
Ruined my favorite dress.
Then off to my favorite place in the big CA, (minus San Francisco) The Fisherman’s Wharf. For drinks, appetizers and a face fry.
It might be a bit divey, but the atmosphere makes you want to cry.
My normal sunglasses that have become a staple have broken, so i’ve resorted at desperate measures. And the first ones i’ve found were unfortunately worn all day.
Back home with some shows and a visit with Kym.
I also watched an episode of the Sarah Silverman Program. It was about as expected and had many familiar faces of Mr. Show. How i’d love to be able to run around with that crowd.
A wonderful time my friends and the big Minneapolis is next weekend. Should call for many pictures and good times.
But for now, you’ll just have to deal with these…
